Project Details
PostgreSQL was used to join tables and efficiently query data to gather information on revenue per country and other business questions. One such question was to find which countries are Rockbuster customers located in. To answer this question, data was customer count and revenue was aggregated over countries and then imported into Tableau. Below is the map of countries with customer count and revenue.
Other business questions were answered and filed out within a spreasheet delivarable with answers to each of the questions asked by the stakeholders. In addition to the spreadsheet, another visualization was created to display what movies contributed the most or the least to revenue. Below is that scatterplot. The key takeway from this visual is that movies with a high rental rate and a low rental duration had a stronger correlation to a higher rental revenue.
